Low Pressure Heater

The Low Pressure Heater is a feedwater heating device in the regenerative system of thermal power plants. It is located downstream of the deaerator. It uses extraction steam from the turbine's low‑pressure cylinders to heat condensate. This gradually raises the condensate temperature before it enters the deaerator. The Low Pressure Heater is typically located between the condensate pump outlet and the deaerator inlet. Operating pressure and temperature are relatively lower than those of High Pressure Heaters. However, due to the large condensate flow, the equipment size is still considerable. Qingdao Hongyuanfeng Power Equipment Co., Ltd. manufactures Low Pressure Heaters according to GB/T 150 "Pressure Vessels" standards. The shell is rolled and welded from carbon steel plates. The tube bundle uses stainless steel or titanium alloy tubes to resist condensate corrosion. The tube‑to‑tubesheet connection uses rolling or welding. We hold licensed pressure vessel design and manufacturing qualifications. All welders hold corresponding certificates.

Our Low Pressure Heaters have design pressure ranging from 2MPa to 10MPa. Design temperature ranges from 100°C to 250°C. Heat transfer area is determined by unit capacity, typically 500‑1,200 square meters. Equipment diameter ranges from 800mm to 2,200mm. Total length ranges from 6,000mm to 12,000mm. We perform non‑destructive testing on every weld. Hydrostatic testing ensures safety and reliability. Monthly production capacity is 2‑3 vessels. Delivery takes 2‑3 months.
