Polygonal Steel Pole

The Polygonal Steel Pole is an important pole type for power transmission and distribution. Its cross-section is polygonal (typically 12-sided, 16-sided, or 18-sided). This provides good appearance and low wind drag. Compared to round poles, polygonal poles offer better bending resistance and use less steel. They are widely used in urban landscape areas and high-voltage transmission lines. The entire pole receives hot-dip galvanizing with a zinc coating of at least 86μm. This meets national standards. Polygonal poles can be designed as tapered or straight sections to suit different load requirements. Our 3200T heavy-duty bending machine and 800T hydraulic press precisely form polygonal sections.

Maximum wind speed capacity is 35 m/s, and earthquake resistance is grade 8. The pole uses flanged sections for transport and assembly. Our production lines include 4 large laser cutting machines and 6 submerged arc welders. Monthly capacity is 1,000-1,500 tons. Standard delivery takes 15-20 days.
