Phase Transposition Tower

Details
The Phase Transposition Tower is a special tower used to change the spatial position of three‑phase conductors on long transmission lines. In long‑distance lines, geometric asymmetry of the three phases causes unbalanced impedance and capacitance. This leads to voltage and current imbalance, increased line losses, and electromagnetic interference with communication lines.

Balancing Three‑Phase Line Parameters

The Phase Transposition Tower is a special tower used to change the spatial position of three‑phase conductors on long transmission lines. In long‑distance lines, geometric asymmetry of the three phases causes unbalanced impedance and capacitance. This leads to voltage and current imbalance, increased line losses, and electromagnetic interference with communication lines. The Phase Transposition Tower solves this by cyclically transposing the three phases in a top‑middle‑bottom‑top sequence. This balances line parameters, reduces losses, and suppresses interference. Qingdao Hongyuanfeng Power Equipment Co., Ltd. manufactures Phase Transposition Towers with H‑shaped truss structures and multiple special cross‑arms. We equip them with dedicated jumper devices for cyclic transposition. All components get hot‑dip galvanizing with a zinc coating of at least 86μm. This meets GB/T 2694‑2018 standards. The design is more complex than a standard straight tower.

Designed for Long‑Distance Transmission

Our Phase Transposition Towers cover voltage levels from 220kV to ±1100kV. The main material is Q235B or Q355B national standard angle steel. We assemble all components with bolt connections. Maximum wind speed capacity is 35 m/s, and earthquake resistance is grade 8. Our production lines include 4 large laser cutters and 8 fully automatic angle steel lines. Annual capacity is 2,000‑3,000 tons. We hold 14 patents and 3 administrative licenses. Our factory in Jiaozhou covers 151 mu and employs 120 workers. We have passed three management system certifications and are recognized as a "High‑tech Enterprise." Our certified inspectors perform full quality control. We accept third‑party inspections and offer a 2‑year warranty.

Application in Major Long‑Distance Projects

Our Phase Transposition Towers have been used in the Jiuquan 500kV DC project, the Qinghai‑Shandong 500kV DC project, and other long‑distance transmission lines. Industry data shows that Phase Transposition Towers are typically installed every 80‑120 kilometers. Our products also serve the Qinghai‑Tibet interconnection project. They effectively reduce electromagnetic interference and improve power quality. The H‑shaped structure provides stable support for multi‑layer cross‑arms, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

Complete Customer Service

Before the sale, our technical team discusses project conditions and provides planning support. We offer competitive quotes and assist with bidding. During production, we share progress updates and coordinate shipping. We check site conditions in advance. After the sale, we offer a 2‑year warranty and on‑site installation guidance. We also conduct regular follow‑up visits to ensure long‑term satisfaction.
